Bromwell
Racila Design was asked to name and create a logo & branding system for this luxury apartment building – located in downtown Denver – designed to house downgrading empty-nesters and gen x professionals. We were inspired by warm and inviting interior design, which naturally led to a minimal identity — beginning with a monogramed wordmark and a nod to luxury Swiss and Austrian hotel branding.

The Man Behind The Name
We chose the name Bromwell to honor an individual who was brave enough to fight for progressive causes during a time when they†‬were not necessarily popularly supportedâ€.‬

Hailing from The Midwestâ€, ‬Henry Pelham Holmes Bromwell was a Colorado politician who served in both the pre-statehood Territorial Councilâ€, ‬and laterâ€, ‬the Colorado legislatureâ€. ‬Throughout his lifetimeâ€, ‬Bromwell supported progressive causes and fought for equalityâ€.‬

Brand Guide Book
At the request of the client, I created a perfect-bound, in-house brand guide book to share with the Holland marketing team and other teams working on-site at Bromwell. The guide ensures that the Bromwell brand will have a unified voice and approach across various marketing channels.
